Winter World of Bugs

Saturday, Feb 9, 2013 10:30a to 12:00p

How do insects survive the cold winter months and avoid becoming frozen? If there are no insects around all winter, where do they come from in the spring? They must be somewhere. Some migrate, some hibernate, and some insects make their own "antifreeze" which allows them to make it through cold weather. Go on an adventure looking for bugs or signs of bugs in the winter. Afterward, warm up with some hot chocolate and fun bug craft projects.
