Newcomers and returning students mix hand and machine sewing. Small classes allow for individual attention, and we encourage kids to share their skills. Younger children start with pincushions and pillows. Older children advance to aprons, doll clothes and clothing. We supply materials for the first meeting. Then, with the instructor’s advice, bring your own fabric and sewing kit. Stay for more than one term and make new projects each time.
