Mayor Thomas M. Menino and First Lady Angela Menino host the 16th annual Rose Garden Party. This event is held when 1,000 rose bushes are in full bloom at the Kelleher Rose Garden in the Back Bay Fens. Money raised at this party benefits ParkARTS, a series of approximately 170 free programs in the city's parks which include concerts, movies, puppet shows, arts and crafts for children, photography workshops, and watercolor painting classes.
