Several of the MFA's most important South Asian bronze sculptures were the subject of intensive research in preparation for the recent re-installation of the South and Southeast Asian collections. Made between the 7th and 12th centuries, these bronzes take the form of Hindu and Buddhist divinities and represent a wide array of metallurgical techniques. Join curator Laura Weinstein, Ananda
