Sung in english: Mozart’s Bastien & Bastienne, Cimarosa’s The Music Director. Boston Baroque ushers in the new year with two sparkling one-act comedies. Soprano Kristen Watson is the shepherdess with a problem lover in this romantic comedy by Mozart. Baritone David Kravitz wrests the baton from Martin Pearlman to become Il Maestro di Cappella—the pompous conductor in Cimarosa’s romp, The Music Director. The perfect way to celebrate the new year. Intermission Champagne Reception. Free Parking.
