The Boston Landmarks Orchestra will commemorate the 200th birthday of Felix Mendelssohn with performances of Mendelssohn’s own compositions and selections from the composer who influenced him the most, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Featuring Mendelssohn’s Overture to A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Mozart’s Symphony No.41 in C major (“Jupiter.”) Also includes a 130th anniversary performance of Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante with special guests Mariana Green-Hill, violin, and Marcus Thompson, viola.
