The Paul Revere House

Walking Tour of Boston's North End

Sunday, July 5 (2009) 1:00p to 2:30p
at City of Boston, Boston, MA
Price: $12 adults; $8 children (free for members)
Age Suitability: Teens and up

Visit America's oldest neighborhood! From an early Puritan settlement through waves of immigrants, this tour also features Old North, Copps Hill & the exploits of Paul Revere.

The North End of Boston is a delightful labyrinth of narrow streets and exotic marketplaces. Guided tours into the second mile of the Freedom Trail, this walking tour makes the perfect companion to Boston By Foot's Heart of the Freedom Trail.

A gateway for immigrants from around the world, it is also home to the Old North Church and the Paul Revere House. Isolated from the rest of downtown with the construction the Central Artery in the 1950's, the North End remains largely preserved from the urban renewal projects that would follow.

Boston By Foot offers a wide variety of walking tours throughout the year showcasing the history & architecture of Boston. See www.bostonbyfoot.org for more information, other offerings, scheduling private tours, or becoming a member for discount pricing.
