Next Big Star Contest

Kenny Chesney plays Gillette Stadium Saturday, but as of now, his opening act is up in the air. On Friday, you can see local musicians battle for the opening spot at the gig.

The competing acts will be Geoff Davin, Jacy Dawn, Glenn Stewart and South Station, and the Jimmy LeHoux Band. Judges, including Doug Meehan from Fox 25 and Ginny Rogers from WKLB-FM (102.5), will determine which act gets the grand prize, which includes opening for Chesney, $25,000, and the chance to audition for RCA Records.
