Boise Philharmonic's Opening Night

Saturday, Sep 27 8:00p to 10:00p

The 2014-2015 season opens with Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 1 in F major, a masterwork of the Baroque era that will showcase every single musician on stage. World renowned pianist Anne-Marie McDermott will bring Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.1 in C major to life. Closing the concert is a piece by Robert Schumann that should have been a reflection of his declining health. However, his Symphony No.2 in C major tells a tale of hope and conquering adversity.
