Molly Abraham, Detroit News Restaurant Critic: A stimmomg redo has put this Mediterranean restaurant on the Birmingham dining map. The menu of Lebanese dishes reflects the heritage of proprietor Elie Mondalak who established the restaurant 16 years ago. The menu also includes many the popular dishes from hummus and taboulee to lentil soup and stuffed grape leaves, and goes beyond them to mainstream selections like sauteed perch and chicken breast. There are also contemporary American dishes. A nice wine list accompanies the fare. The sidewalk cafe is especially popular when weather permits.
