Molly Abraham, Detroit News Restaurant Critic: Birmingham's newest restaurant is strategically located on the corner of Woodward and Maple, with big windows looking over the street. The lavish contempoaray setting includes an interactive exhibition kitchen, where every night the chefs prepare a five-course dinner ($65 per person) for those who choose this option. There is also a spacious dining room and bar where ordering is from the modern Italian menu. This is the second Zazios, a spin-off of the original in Kalamazoo. Everything about the place is upscale, from the open kitchen where executive chef Matt Schellig prepares the multi-course meal to the thermo-electric wine cabinet along one wall.
