Positano Ristorante Italiano has been owned and operated by the Traettino family since 1977 in Bethesda,MD outside Washington,DC. Seven separate classy private dining rooms used as rehearsal dinner sites, wedding reception sites, bar mitzvah sites, bat mitzvah sites, flow into each other accommodating a total of 600 guests. Because of our thoughtful service, home-made Italian cuisine and attention to detail we have created a loyal following and have become famous as a venue for private events. We are not part of a hotel or restaurant chain, we do not have a microwave, we still write our guest checks in long hand, we still make our own sauces, bread, mozzarella cheese, pastas and desserts. We are straightforward and have no WTF hidden fees. Your wedding reception or rehearsal dinner pays only for the food, the drink, the tax and the tip. We pay for the extra waiters, bartenders, cakes, linens, settings, the room. At the end of your special event you will receive the bill with no surprises.
