TOKI Presents Divas Latinas - Music from Easter Island (Chile) to Spain

Pooling from their Chilean heritage, Easter Island's Toki joins Divas Latinas to present an exotic blend of sounds that combine the fresh Easter Island sounds and dances with elements of music from Chile, Argentina, and Spain. Toki is Mahani Teave's non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the music and dance of Easter Island.

Easter Island's only classical pianist, Mahani Teave has performed with all of Chile's greatest symphony orchestras as well as other orchestras around the world. Ms. Teave was the first prize winner of the 1999 Claudio Arrau International Piano Competition, where she also won prizes for the best compulsory pieces and the biggest talent.
