Cloudspotting at Saturn and Titan: A Science@Cal Event

Saturday, Mar 16, 2013 11:00a

What's the weather like today... on Titan?! The weather is a daily reminder of the changes in our environment, but is remarkably difficult to understand. NASA's Cassini explorer to Saturn has made it possible to evaluate weather models that have relevance to climate challenges on Earth.

Cal scientist Máté Ádámkovics will tell us about the weather on Saturn's moon, Titan. Come learn how Titan can have rain and fog, much like the earth, but all at a temperature 290 degrees below zero.
