Drawings, works on paper and mixed media 3D forms explore invisible connections within the natural world and human relationships. Line describes these ties with thread, wire, graphite, fabric, rust and strokes of walnut ink made from a tree in the artist's yard. Handwriting in thread traces memory, stories and marks made by ancestors. Dimensional lines wrap, circle and weave to form nest like structures. This work explores the fragile strength of these connections.
