This delicious, delightful romp through 1930s-era Greenwich Village follows two sisters who have left their hometown and are trying to make it on their own in NY. Ruth, a shy and intelligent aspiring writer, faces the man’s world of publishing and finds all doors closed to her. Eileen is an outgoing, attractive actress who uses her feminine wiles to get what she wants. Both struggle to find themselves – and, ultimately, love – in this wildly entertaining, feel-good musical comedy for all ages.
