Traywick Contemporary is pleased to announce an exhibition of recent work by Bay Area artist David Sleeth. This will be David Sleeth's first exhibition since receiving his MFA from Mills College in 2011.
David Sleeth's sculptures distill shapes to their most basic forms. For his new body of work the artist enlists cardboard to transcend the limitations of materials and methods of fabrication. Sleeth's sculptures reclaim the organic, yet mechanically produced, material as something natural.
