Each performance by the Temescal Quartet reflects a shared love of chamber music and a commitment to building and nurturing an ensemble voice. Formed in 2004 by musicians of the San Francisco Opera and Ballet Orchestras, the Temescal Quartet, joined by clarinetist Tom Rose, will present two Brahms' masterpieces: his second string quartet, op. 51, no. 2, and the Clarinet Quintet, op. 115.
