BA~CON 2013 – Bellingham Anime Mini-Con

Celebrate your love for Japanese comics and animation at our fourth annual all-day anime and cosplay extravaganza. Events include a timed and themed art contest, a ramen speed-eating competition, cosplay pageants, meet-ups, panels and more! Costumes (cosplay) encouraged, but not required! Costumes should be appropriate for all ages. Cosplay encouraged!
All weapons will need to be peace bonded! (This means they will be tagged as “safe”. Anything unsafe will be held at coat check.)

12 - contest registration (register up to 1/2 hour prior to contest or until maximum is reached)
12:00 - 4:30 Coat check/weapons peace-bonding (Children’s Library)
12:15 - 4:30 Reading room (Children's Library)
12:00 - 3:30 Artists Alley (Lower Lobby)
12:30 - 5:00 CONTESTS (Lecture Room)
1:45 - 3:00 Meet ups (Dodson Room)
3:00 - Pizza
5:00 - 6:00 Dance & Socialize

12:30 – 1:00 - Art Contest 20 minutes to draw on the theme: Frogs (all artwork must incorporate the theme) Max: 20 participants
1:00- 1:40 - Homestuck Character Q&A (Dodson Room)
1:45 - 2:45 - Ramen Eating Contest Max: 20 participants
2:45 - 3:20 - Cosplay forum Q&A
3:30 - 4:45 Cosplay Contests Max: under 13: 10 14+: 30 participants
4:45 - Awards Ceremony /Clean Up
5:00-6:00 - Dance Party
