When children 4 to 5 years begin to recognize their ABC’s it goes hand-in hand with learning to draw. They quickly recognize how letterforms go together and use this to learn to draw and paint. Students are taught the proper use of art tools and materials: pencil, brush, watercolor, and chalk pastels. As they gain confidence they apply this to projects inspired by subjects for younger students.
