Basic American Sign Language

The Hearing, Speech, and Deafness Center is offering American Sign Language classes as a free service to the community. The classes take place on the first three Tuesdays of each month, from 12:00-1:00 PM. We will teach basic American Sign Language and gestures, emphasizing visual communication with Deaf and Hard of Hearing people. Although our sessions are free, reservations are required. We have limited space and accept participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
