Tour Captain George E. Pickett's 1856 home on Peabody Hill. This is the oldest documented wooden structure, on its original site, in the State of Washington. Later as a General during the Civil War, Pickett led the infamous 1863 charge at Gettysburg. Experience a Victorian home and a variety of local history. Open house the second Sunday of each month, 1-4 p.m. and private tours by appointment, offered by Daughters of the Pioneers of Washington and Friends of the Pickett House.
