Relay for Life of South Marion is one of six Marion County Relay events. Participating teams "Relay" walk from 2 pm on Saturday, April 13th, through sunrise on Sunday, signifying a cancer patient's journey from initial diagnosis through survival. Each team has a campsite that is themed to various vacation destinations and has some sort of fundraiser going throughout the event. Fundraisers include food, bounce house, games, etc. Free live music and community entertainment throughout the event.
