Meet at Tualatin Community Park, Tualatin, OR. Touring Kayak Lesson, Beginning--Learn how to use touring kayaks. The first half of the lesson will include a discussion on kayak equipment, steering strokes, paddling in a straight line, bracing and rescues. The second half will be a tour on a local waterway to practice and become proficient in your new skills. We use very stable solo and tandem kayaks with big cockpits.
