The Anvil Arts of Basingstoke Basingstoke, Hampshire

Collectively Asaf Sirkis on percussion, Tim Garland on saxes and bass clarinet, and celebrated pianist Gwilym Simcock, Lighthouse are like an orchestra in their own right. Their trio project will feature new work from both Tim Garland and Gwilym Simcock (Barclaycard Mercury nominated 2011). All three musicians are regarded as among the very best in the world on their respective instruments.

Drummer Skip Prokop formed Lighthouse in 1968 and began adding members soon after: guitarist Ralph Cole (whom Prokop had played with in the Paupers), Grant Fullerton, Pinky Dauvin, saxophonist Howard Shore, cellist Dick Armin, violinist Don DiNovo, keyboard player Paul Hoffert, saxophonist Keith Jollimore, vocalist Bob McBride, trumpeter Peter Pantaluk, trombonist Larry Smith and bassist Louis Yackniw....
