Regency Foothill Cinema 10

this theater is the worst theater to accomodate people with special needs. My son who is 8 years old and is insulin dependant since he was 2 was asked to throw away his sugar supply of candy and diet soda when we asked if we could bring it in, because they don't allow any outside drinks or food. Now I understand that if we were trying to hide it in order to get out of buying at their concession stand. I bought my tickets (3) of them at 8.00 ea., I asked the guy taking the ticket if my son can bring in his diet orange as he wanted popcorn but I didn't want him to get diet coke. I told him that we were going to buy popcorn and drinks for me and my other son. He said no. I asked for the manager, and he said no and that you have to throw out any drink or candy. I explained that my son was diabetic as my son always carries candy with him. So I asked for my money back and left. My point is this... they would rather lose 24.00 than let one diet soda in. They ask him to throw out his drink, you can't even bring in your own water. AMC theater has never treated us this way, and accomodate us because of this special situation. Here I was being honest and ask for permission , other people sneak stuff in their purses and jackets. Go figure. So much for being honest.
