Continuing Education Class -- Building a Better Baked Good
Local food blogger, Theresa “Sam” Houghton unravels the mysteries behind what’s truly healthy and shows how to make just a few simple substitutions to create treats without sacrificing any of the flavor. This class includes an overview of the effects that processed ingredients have on the body. Handouts with information and substitutions for making favorite recipes healthier will be given along with a “healthy muffin” cooking demonstration, question and answer session, and muffin tasting.
