Austin Civic Orchestra's Fall Concert

ACO welcomes renowned composer Anthony Iannaccone as he talks about his powerful piece, Dancing on Vesuvius. The strings will be featured in a performance of Vaughan Williams’ gorgeous Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis and will accompany ACO Member Concerto Competition winner Andrew Rogers on Bottesini's Concerto No. 2 in B minor for double bass. The evening will be rounded out with the exciting Danzon No. 2 by Marquez and the enchanting Mother Goose Suite by Maurice Ravel.
