Views of the Capitol: 125 Years in the Making

Wednesday, Sep 18, 2013 10:00a to 6:00p

"Views of the Capitol: 125 Years in the Making" commemorates the 125th anniversary of the Texas Capitol, displaying both 19th and 20th century materials from the Texas State Library and Archives. Architect E. E. Myers’ original linen drawings provide the 19th-century cornerstone, while Austin photographer Bill Kennedy’s stunning, large-format photographs detail the renovation of the Capitol in the early 1990s. Showing on the museum's third floor, which is free and open to the public.
