"Design for Living"
Hopkins plays a painter who meets Cooper’s painter and March’s playwright on a train, and a fascinating love triangle is initiated, one that was fairly risqué for the 1930s. This one just barely slipped into theaters before the rigid enforcement of censorship starting in 1934.
This film is part of a double feature. One ticket is good for both features when viewed back-to-back on the same day.
