Small-batch & from-scratch: Texas peach preserving

In this hands-on class, attendees will focus on two kinds of peach preserves, a simple peach jam and pickled peaches! Participants will learn hands-on, how to safely and deliciously put up our Texas peaches to enjoy them year round, including ways to personalize your preserves with flavors and infusions. We'll cover the waterbath canning method of sealing the jars for shelf-storage as well as common safety concerns with food preservation.
We will be working with Central Texas peaches from Floresville.
