UT Nutrition Institute 2013 Mindful Eating Conference
The UT Nutrition Institute is presenting and three day conference on UT's main campus. The overarching theme of the 2013 conference is "mindfulness". This theme will be explored in lectures from UT's research faculty, hands-on cooking classes with an award-winning local chef and interactive discussions, demos and tastings. From exploring flavor profiles to learning about the study of food addiction through brain scans, attendees can expect "mindfulness" to be interpreted in unexpected ways.
