¡A Viva Voz! – Cartoonista: An Evening with Lalo Alcaraz

Thursday, Apr 4, 2013 7:00p

The Benson Latin American Collection at The University of Texas at Austin celebrates its eleventh annual salute to Latino culture, “¡A Viva Voz!,” with prolific and sometimes controversial Chicano artist, humorist and writer Lalo Alcaraz.

Alcaraz has spent the past two decades chronicling the political ascendancy of Latinos in America and vigorously pushing the boundaries of Chicano art in what he describes as the “Post Chicano Art Era.”
