"Beauty Is the Best Priest"
Representing the cultural flowering of Harlem, from the 1920s-1930s, this production includes prize-winning works by African American women who were amongst the most influential playwrights, poets, novelists, journalists, and activists of the era.
Directed by Marcus McQuirter, Zell Miller III, Feliz McDonald and Florinda Bryant.
Proceeds benefit the Austin Community College Theatre Scholarship fund and the Carver Museum’s Summer Youth Performing Arts Program.
