Sir Arthur Sullivan: the California Connection

Sunday, Mar 10, 2013 3:00p

Sir Arthur Sullivan is well known throughout the world as the composer of sparkling musical scores that bring musical magic to Gilbert & Sullivan comic operas such as “The Mikado” and “The Pirates of Penzance”.

The Gilbert & Sullivan Society presents “Sir Arthur Sullivan; The California Connection”. Scott Hayes, the great-great-nephew of Sir Arthur, will present extensive research into his relative’s trip from England to California in 1885, which included visits to San Francisco and Yosemite.
