Literature LIVE! Presents Anansi and the Golden Box of Stories at the Manchaca Road of the Austin Public Library

In order to release all of the world's stories, Anansi, the "spider man" uses his brains, wits, and some clever techniques to complete the difficult tasks asked of him by Nyame, the Sky God. Based on Gail E. Haley's Caldecott Medal-winning picture book, this African folktale recounts how the Anansi tales came to be called "Spider Stories."
