Retreat with Fr. Ron Rolheiser

Fr. Ron Rolheiser is a noted author, theologian and President of the Oblate School of Theology Ronald Rolheiser is a Roman Catholic priest.  He has published a number of works on Catholic spirituality, including The Holy Longing, The Shattered Lantern, Against an Infinite Horizon, and most recently, Our One Great Act of Fidelity:  Waiting for Christ in the Eucharist .  He will present a day-long retreat, on Saturday, January 19th, from 10am-4pm on the topic, "The Journey of Discipleship --… Show more Sustenance for the Long Haul."   For much of his priesthood, Fr. Rolheiser taught theology and philosophy at Newman Theological College in Edmonton Alberta. From 1998–2004 he served his religious community, The Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, on their General Administration.  In August 2005, he became President of the Oblate School of Theology in San Antonio, Texas. Registration for retreat is $30 online or $40 at the door.  A light lunch will be available for a $6 donation.
Fr. Rolheiser joins us for Dinner on Saturday, January 19th, at 6:30pm, immediately following the 5:30pm Mass, and will offer a presentation entitled "Struggling to Keep a Mellow Heart in a Bitter Time." Registration is $40, including the meal.
