The Music Under the Star free summer concert series is back. On Friday nights in July, take in live music on the Lone Star Plaza in front of the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum from 6 - 9pm. Come see Junior Brown with Warren Hood and the Goods perform July 13th. Between music sets, explore the Museum's exhibits free of charge, including Texas Music Roadtrip, our special exhibition on the history of Texas music.

b. 14 March 1957, Hammersmith, London, England. In his youth Brown studied for an apprenticeship in mechanics but was preoccupied with his love of music. He linked up with a variety of reggae performers in London, including Ijahman Levi, who allowed him to sit in on recording sessions at the Island Records Basing Street Studios....
