“On Golden Pond” is the story of Norman and Ethel Thayer, who are returning to their summer home on Golden Pond, Maine for the 48th year.
They are visited by their divorced, middle-aged daughter Chelsea and her fiancé Bill who go off to Europe, leaving Bill’s son, Billy behind for the summer. Billy ends up being,the best thing that happened to Norman since Roosevelt. In the end Norman and Ethel know that time is still against them, but perhaps, another summer of Golden Pond still awaits.
