Cultural History Day

Saturday, Mar 1 9:00a to 1:00p

Travel back in time and experience life on the high plains through the perspectives of past cultures. Step inside a tipi in our 1837 Cheyenne Indian Camp and compare their furnishings to your own comforts of home. Try your hand at archery to see if your family will be well fed or go hungry! Ride the wagon to the 1887 sod homestead and talk with interpreters in period costumes about the daily challenges of pioneer life on the western frontier. Help out with farm chores and feed the animals.
