Walk with a Naturalist

Wednesday, Apr 17, 2013 9:00a to 11:00a

Wildflowers will start to appear with sand lilies the most likely. Song birds and waterfowl will arrive, with some passing through on their migrations. The pronghorn herd will still be together, so we may see the herd in the middle of the natural area. Red-tailed and ferruginous hawks and northern harriers will be hunting. Burrowing owls may be back looking for nest sites in abandoned prairie dog burrows.
