Wednesday, May 16, 2012 12:00p to 1:00p

In May, the Aurora History Museum's monthly Brown Bag Talk features a discussion of the little known Hungate Massacre of 1864 just southeast of Denver. Hear Arapahoe Community College instructor Jeff Broome tell about the events leading up to the Nathan Hungate Family massacre thirty miles southeast of Denver. What were the motivations? How is the event related to the Indian War of 1864? Join us to learn the answers.
