The Daso Art Collection Exhibition

The Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History is proud to present the work of renowned self-taught artist John Daso. The Augusta, Ga., native combines Southern quintessence and vibrancy, with a spirit-driven purpose that illuminates the canvas. Daso is the first African American artist to own a gallery (DASO’s Gallery) in the historic French Quarter of Charleston.
