(Geared for Parents/caregivers/teachers of children ages 15 months-4 yrs. old)
Do you have a child or work with one who is getting frustrated because they don’t have the words to tell you their wants and needs? 
Do you have a hard time understanding a child?
Are you dealing with meltdowns and behaviors because of it?
Are you wondering if this is normal? You are not alone!
This workshop will look at typical language development from birth to age four.
Participants will… Show more learn how to differentiate between age appropriate language errors and problematic errors.
Participants will walk away with strategies to help children work through the frustrations.
Many community resources will be provided as well.

 I am ever mindful of my little friends’ needs and abilities and always provide developmentally appropriate stories, science, math, and crafts projects that emphasize fun while learning.
 At Di’s Little Friends’ Playcare, language and communication skills are fostered by encouraging children to “use their words,â€* ask questions, share stories, resolve conflict, and share feelings in a positive manner.
 I take time to listen, offer choices, and inspire children to consider options available to them.
