Huey Lewis & the News
Huey Lewis & the News
Huey Lewis & the News were a bar band that made good. With their simple, straightforward rock & roll, the San Francisco-based group became one of America's most popular pop/rock bands of the mid-'80s. Inspired equally by British pub rock and '60s R&B and rock & roll, the News had a driving, party-hearty spirit that made songs like "Workin' for a Livin'," "I Want a New Drug," "The Heart of Rock & Roll," "Hip to Be Square," and "The Power of Love" yuppie anthems....
Straight No Chaser
Straight No Chaser
In September of 1996 Dan Ponce, a member of the Singing Hoosiers, put together a men's a cappella group at Indiana University. He mentioned this idea to his friends in the choir and one by one, picked the members of what would become Straight No Chaser....
Josh Turner
Josh Turner
An icon of neo-traditionalist country music during the 2000s, Hannah, SC, native Josh Turner explicitly modeled his style and approach to vocals upon those of icon Hank Williams, and in fact reportedly authored his first blockbuster single, "Long Black Train," (2003) after feeling inspired by one of Williams' box sets....
Engelbert Humperdinck
Engelbert Humperdinck
Ultrasmooth balladeer Engelbert Humperdinck was often billed as "the King of Romance," and for millions of fans around the world, he more than lived up to that title. Despite the strange name and the latter-day ads hawking his music on late-night TV, Humperdinck was one of the finest middle-of-the-road balladeers around, a sensitive lyric interpreter with excellent vocal technique and a three-and-a-half-octave vocal range....

Jun 28, 2008 - stellag on Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa
Red Door Spa, Harrah's, Atlantic City, NJ

We found the facility beautiful, well decorated and comfortable. Upon arrival, there were no sandals in our sizes. Two of us had wonderful, relaxing massages, the other had a masseuse who was unfriendly and the massage was sub-par. Our pedicures were well done, however there was a problem with the manicures. One technician refused to complete a manicure saying that she was out of time and had another client. We were told to wait another one half hour until another technician was available. When we brought this to the attention of the front desk staff, they were rude and argumentative. The next day we found our manicures deteriorating with peeling and bubbling polish. We found the overall experience below average for the Red Door Spas we have enjoyed in the past and do not plan to return to this location.
