In collaboration with the Smoke School of Art, a non-profit art collective based in Atlanta, the Auburn Avenue Research Library will host, How You Like Me Now: The Nostalgic Commodification of the Black Art in America. This community lecture, facilitated by conceptual artist and educator, Christopher Hutchinson, will examine how the lingering effects of colonialism and contemporary racism marginalizes non-white creative expression.
