Jay Shapiro Arts Legacy Foundation 3rd Annual Art for a Cause Gala

Tickets include heavy hors d'oeuvres, beer and wine. For the first time, the Spruill Center For The Arts and WonderRoot, two well-known art organizations have joined the Mason Murer Gallery as JSALF’s artistic partners. Featured artwork comes from local art organizations and well-known local artists. Area high school seniors are encouraged to participate in the art competition and will have their work prominently displayed at the event. Artwork will be on display in a “silent auction” format and a portion of all winning bid proceeds will go to support the Foundation. The Jay Shapiro Arts Legacy Foundation continues to build on its mission of removing financial barriers to emerging members of our visual arts community in their higher education pursuits. Our annual Gala is the primary means of JSALF awareness and fundraising for scholarships that will support our community’s art student winners in the exploration and achievement of their full creative potential.
