Meet the Holidays: Holi

Sunday, Mar 24, 2013 3:00p

The Hindu festival of Holi is a special time that signals the end of winter and the coming of spring. Also known as the Festival of Colors, bright colors are used to decorate people’s faces and bodies for the holiday. Join the Imaginators for a special reading of Holi (Celebrations in My World) by Lynn Peppas. Children can then make a bright peacock, the symbol of India, decorated in bright colors in the spirit of Holi.
