Thousands of Atlanta residents will gather at Centennial Olympic Park for The ALS Association of Georgia’s annual Walk to Defeat ALS™. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., and the Walk to Defeat ALS starts at 10 a.m. The three-mile walk is open to the public.
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, is a devastating neuromuscular disease that robs the body of its ability to talk, walk, eat and eventually breathe.
