Dr. Elizabeth Rodini will present "Out of Context: On the Origins and Meanings of Imported Objects in Renaissance Venice and Today." She serves as a teaching professor at Johns Hopkins University. Her research interests include the representation and material expression of cultural exchange in the early modern period. Her current research focuses on changing meanings of objects in circulation, such as the notion of exoticism in the domestic objects of Renaissance Venice.
